The winery cultivates 4.5 hectares of Saperavi and 1.5 hectares of white grape variety vineyards. No herbicides or mineral fertilizers are used. Only high-quality, single vineyard grapes are selected for winemaking.

7 unique Georgian varieties

Saperavi is a legendary Georgian red grape variety. The extractiveness of the grape gives the wine a dark, intense color, full body, and rich tannins, making it ideal for long-term aging. "Buneburi" harvests its Saperavi from its own 4.5-hectare vineyard.

Rkatsiteli is one of the oldest and most widespread Georgian white grape varieties. It is used for both European-style white wines and traditional Qvevri wines. It is characterized by pronounced acidity, and notes of citrus and wild herbs.

Mtsvane Kakhuri is an endemic white grape variety from Kakheti. It is distinguished by light green-yellowish berries. The wine made from it is characterized by high aromaticity, delicate floral tones, and lively acidity. The special character of the variety is equally impressive on its own or blended with other white grape varieties.

Kisi is an ancient white grape variety from Kakheti that has undergone a true renaissance and gained renewed recognition in recent years. It produces a unique amber wine, especially in Qvevri, characterized by a rich golden color and complex aromas of dried tea, saffron, and dried fruit.

Khikhvi is an ancient white grape variety from Kakheti. In the vineyard, it is quite delicate and demanding to cultivate, but in return, it yields grapes of exceptional quality and extract. Khikhvi wine is characterized by a noble golden color, and complex notes of fresh citrus, wild herbs, and delicate spices.

Grdzelmtevana is a rare Georgian white grape variety whose name relates to its main ampelographic feature — unusually long, well-formed clusters. The variety is distinguished by early ripening and a delicate, lively character. Since it is less widespread in viticulture today, "Buneburi" grows it with special care to preserve our country's unique vine diversity and gene pool.

Mtsvivani is an ancient Georgian white grape variety. Its name directly reflects the specific ampelographic character of the vine — the tendency of ripe grapes to drop their berries. The wine made from Mtsvivani is characterized by a delicate structure, pleasant fullness, and an elegant taste of fruit notes. "Buneburi" cares for this extremely rare variety with great devotion in its own vineyards, creating an exclusive, collectible wine from it.

In the winery, the winemaking and aging process takes place in stainless steel reservoirs, naturally, without excessive technological intervention or the use of additives. The wine is bottled unfiltered.

Natural, unfiltered, handcrafted Georgian wine.
